How to Read the Odds
Prices are decimal. The number is what one unit of stake returns in total, stake included. At odds of 1.25 a 100 Br stake returns 125 Br, a profit of 25 Br. At 3.40 the same 100 Br would return 340 Br, but that outcome is less likely.
In an accumulator the odds are multiplied. Two picks at 1.25 and 1.50 give 1.875, so 100 Br would return 187.5 Br if both win. If one loses, the whole ticket loses. This is an illustration only; odds never guarantee a profit.
